Dear Owners, Chefs, Waitresses, Cooks,                      

     I live in Bellville, my son lives in College Station with his family.  My daughter and her husband live in Austin.  Early in the week we decided we wanted to be together [this Sunday]....We decided to meet somewhere that each group would only have to drive one hour.  We decided to try Giddings.

....[following a recommendation] I called Monzi's and made a reservation for 7 for the Sunday Brunch.

     All of us were amazed at the beauty of your restaurant.  We all kept saying we thought we were in New Orleans in the French Quarter.  Everything was beautiful and luxurious.  We all felt that a wonderful dining experience was just ahead.  Sure enough we were correct.

     I cannot possibly shower compliments on everything that was available.  The men in our group managed to eat a lot of different things.  The ladies, of course, ate less....I started with an omelet.  I watched the young man prepare it, and that was very entertaining.  He made it look so easy....

     Oh, my gosh--It was all fantastic.  I have never eaten a better breakfast.

Later on I went to the dessert table....It looked just like a picture in a magazine....

     I wish you could have been hiding behind the piano and have listened to our conversations.  Everyone was saying things like:

     'Try the Eggs Benedict.'

     'Try the French toast.'

     'You must have an omelet.'

     'Go to the entrees and get the eggplant.'

     'Get some asparagus.'

     'Oh, the prime rib!'

     To say the least, we ENJOYED everything.  We all parted saying, "Let's come back to Monzi's!"

     Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to make everything PERFECT!

 [I am] writing to thank you for the wonderful job you and your staff did with the birthday party for my wife, Kathy.  The unanimous consensus of the guests was that the food, cake, and the service were as nearly perfect as they ever get in this world.

Dear Robin,

Please relay my sincere appreciation for the fine job your fine Monzi's staff performed at my mother's recent 70th birthday party.  It was a flawless event.

The special requests I made were fulfilled to the letter.  The wait staff and timing was right-on.  The food was delicious and received numerous compliments from my guests.  The cake probably was the most beautiful and delicious I've had--(normally it's one or the other!), it was a knock-out! And best yet, my mother felt like the belle of the ball.

As a former event planner, I realize I earned the "high maintenance" award--with all of my long-distance communication, itineraries and concerns.  You truly did an awesome job that could easily compare with any of the upscale establishments I have utilized in the past.  So, with my greatest compliments, please accept my thanks.

Jay,

I wish you could have heard all the nice comments from our club members about their meal at Monzi's on October 21.  They even thanked Sherry and me for scheduling such a great lunch stop!  You are certainly a credit to Giddings.

Your wait-staff personnel present your food with the style usually found in more expensive big city restaurants.  I have only enjoyed two meals there so far, but if you were near Kerrville, I would impress my out of town guests by treating them to a meal at Monzi's.

We all have the very best wishes for you and your company in this coming Holiday season.  Thanks again for your kindness and service.
